Dog Rank: 11 The 11th animal listed on the Chinese Zodiac. Dogs are honest, faithful, and sincere (the characteristics of a real dog). Always has a need to be righteous, Dogs are always the first to speak out against injustices. They are shy and not very sociable with new people, but they are intelligent, caring, and a good listener when you need somebody for a shoulder to cry on. They are fiercely loyal to their friends. Once you tell them a secret, you can count on them that the secret will never escape them. They are trustworthy people to rely and talk your problems out with. Dogs despise gossiping, probably the reason why they aren't status seekers. A great friend to be around when they're in a good mood. But when they get into a bad one, they "bark" until they're tired, lashing out at everybody until their anger wears out. Dogs are very judgemental sometimes, they assume things at first glance. They also immediately think you wrong if you rub them the wrong way. However, dogs make loyal friends to those that appeal to them. Dogs are born serious-to-a-fault. They are literally born old and as they age, they become younger. They lessen up on the seriousness of life as they grow older. They learn to love leisure when the time calls for it. Because they learn to mellow out with age, they usually become non strict parents (possibly both good and bad for the children) They are original with thoughts and have wonderful ideals. Though they rarely share their thoughts with anybody who's not their close friends, their thoughts are considered wise and beyond their time. Dogs have a very hard time dealing with fear. They often panic and withdraw from reality when this happens. Dogs will enter a relationship where they are the givers and their partner is the taker. They are generous, loyal, honest, and straightforward to the person they love. But sometimes they are too attached. No matter how badly their loved one treats them, they will make acceptances no matter what and will be counted on to stick it through thick and thin. Their romantic lives can be shaky, because they are born worriers also. They need to find relationships where the other is knowing of their anxiety and doesn't fret too much about it.
