The Meeting of Saga and Sugar
When Saga was a little child, she remembers getting lost on a snowy day and looking up at the sky and seeing a beautiful fairy. Saga is now grown and refuses to believe in her childhood illusion. Saga is a very organized child that lives with her grandmother. Saga plans out her whole day and follows it step by step.
As Saga runs an errand, Greta steps out to show off her new watch to Saga, who she considers to be her rival. Rather notice her watch, Saga notices Greta wearing her Pajama bottoms. In embarassment, Greta skimpers away.
Saga stops by the piano shop and plays their piano a bit. While she's at the shop, the rain begins to fall. Saga realizes she has to get home or she'll be off schedule. She runs out into the rain holding her bookbag over her head.
As the rain pours harder, Saga has no choice but the stop under a roof in an alley. As she watches the rain fall, she hears breathing next to her. Next to her, is a sleeping pink-haired fairy, muttering in her sleep about her hunger. Unbelieving, Saga digs in her bookbag and grabs a waffle and holds it out to the fairy. Apprehensive at first, the fairy takes a small bite from the waffle and realizing she loves the taste, she begins to take huge chomps out of the waffle. Saga is still unbelieving of what she's seeing and runs home. The fairy, of course, follows her.
At her house, the fairy whizzes around Saga's room, speaking quicky about how its amazing that a human can see her. Saga searches through her books, wondering what type of bug/animal that the fairy is. Saga realizes that the fairy must be an illusion and falls asleep, turning her back to the fairy.
The fairy tries to get Saga's attention, trying to convince her that she's not an illusion. She finally decides to try out some magic and pulls out her flute. Her attention captured, Saga turns around in bed and sees a snowflake forming in front of her as the fairy plays her flute. Saga stares at the snowflake, disbelieving. The fairy flies up and introduces herself as Sugar, the snow fairy.
