Nancie is a very legal Korean twinkie stuck in a cow-town in Colorado. Although she likes webdesigning, she likes being fed and clothed more, so she is currently working her days away at her mother's shop and the evil retail coorporation known as Express. She's a closet fan of Anime & Manga, and despite all the scary people that hang out in anime stores, tries her very best to spindle money away on various artbooks XD. Her biggest dislike is to play surrogate boyfriend to her girlfriends when they have a fight with their other halves. In turn, she believes that women are just as stupid as men for putting up with such stupidity! *shakes fist*

hellllllllloooooooo manic-depressive drug advertised on tv~
i'm feeling extremely fatigued nowadays. even i'm not sure why i am. my usual energy feels like it's been siphoned out of me. whenever i laugh or smile it feels like i force myself. you know when you have one of those days when you just hate everything and just sick of the world? i've had several of em for a couple weeks now. i don't think it's anyone's fault. i think crap coming from all directions just bunched up into this wad the size of a baseball and pinned me on the head really good. lately the only layouts i've been able to do now are so angsty and gothy. i really want to get out of this funk.
i'm now officially hired at express...and i came back from my orientation. what really sucks is not only that i have to commute by taking 2 buses and a lightrail train to get to the store, but the fact i gotta make some serious changes to my clothing style. don't get me wrong, express clothes are pretty, but i'm more of the t-shirt and jeans girl, not the FAST-PACED-ULTRA-FEMININE-SEXY-IN-YOUR-FACE-KISS-MY-HALF-REVEALING-ASS sorta look. altho i sincerely admire girls that can pull that look off. i'm just too lazy to put that sort of effort into my appearance. and they have a strict policy on shoes....SHOES! i have to wear those horrible foot numbing, circulation cutting, high heeled shoes! they're against the comfy sneakers i'm accustomed to. argh. my feet can't take that much abuse. today i went to the meeting wearing my new black boots and i thought i was going to have to amputate my pinky toe. crap...i hate shoe shopping...maybe if i had those fantasy cinderella size 4 chinese binded feet, i'd be more than willing to oblige.
i'm sorry i haven't been visiting everyone's blog lately. the only ones i visit nowadays is this girl nyaa and this girl hyaa. i'm deathly terrified that they'll abandon me like this girl myaa T_T. please! don't leave me! T_T

Hey. As much as you may not believe it, I completely sympathize with you- I'm in the same situation. However I've come to realize the reason for my... despair, for lack for a better word, can be rooted to the self-centered, egotistical nature of society. Not that'd you'd necessarily care, but your writings reveal you to be (or so to seem, to say the very least) an incredibly perceptive an intelligent person.
Maybe you'd like to talk about it some time, if that might help?

New shoes are a pain in the ass for me too, because my feet are very wide and flat...and just don't fit anywhere >< That's silly that they're trying to make everyone that works at the store dress like that because some people just...don't work in clothes like that x_x
