C:\\NODATA\___I N T R O D U C T I O N Computer Science has made remarkable progress since those days when people used to use PCs and Laptops. Computers have evolved into walking, talking machines that are designed to look like people...these are called Persocons. Everywhere you go, you see people walking and working with persocons. Motosuwa Hideki is your average Ronin working hard through cram school and living in Tokyo. He wishes for a persocon of his own, but is too broke to buy one. As he walks home one night, he stumbles upon a persocon tied up and discarded in the garbage on the side of the street. He carries it to his apartment and switches her on (insert very ecchi yet funny scene ^^). The only thing the persocon seems to say at first is "chii" and Hideki promptly names her Chii. Chii is no doubt different from other persocon models...she's able to function without an Operating System yet she has no common sense of commands or of the world. There is also an underground rumor on the net that there is a super-persocon series called Chobits...Persocons that can actually learn and think for themselves, an actual artificial intelligence. Could Chii possible be one of these Chobits? How did she end up in the garbage? Will Hideki ever have enough money? Chobits is CLAMP's newest series and still going on strong.
