C:\\NODATA\___C H A R A C T E R S Chii Age: ??? A mysterious persocon found thrown away in the trash. Chii has no OS (operating system) yet somehow has the ability to walk and talk. However, at first, Chii can only say "Chi" (thus, her namesake ^^). Unlike other persocons, she oddly seems like she has feelings. Hideki even notices at some times she seems oddly sad at certain times. Chii may be one of the mysterious persocon series called Chobits...but it's still unknown. Motosuwa Hideki Age: 19 A first year Ronin working through cram school called Yobikou. Just your average guy (with a bigger than average porn collection ^^;;) he's one of the few people too broke to buy a persocon of his own. By luck, he discovers Chii in the trash on his way home from work. Hideki cares for Chii as if she were real and spends good time teaching her how to speak and learn common sense. Hiromu Shinbo Age: 19 Shinbo is Hideki's closest friend in Tokyo. Even though he is a 1st year Ronin himself and goes to the same cram school with Hideki, Shinbo is actually very intelligent and knowledgable when it comes to persocons. Shinbo also has a secret relationship going on with the cram school teacher (very heartwarming T_T) Shinbo owns a mobile persocon named Sumomo that he customized himself. Hibiya Chitose Age: 27 Chitose is the landlady of the apartment dorms where Hideki lives. She's said to be a very intelligent person but chooses to run the dorms rather than a career. A very composed and feminine lady, she offers her care to both Hideki and Chii. A majority of Chii's outfits are hand-me-downs from Chitose (and Hideki can't complain how cute Chii looks in them ^^). However, there seems to be a secret motive of hers why she seems to come to Chii's aid when she and Hideki needs. Omura Yumi Age: 16(?) Yumi is a high school student who works with Hideki in the bar "Yorokonde!" owned by her father. Yumi is VERY well-developed for her age (E-cup 0_o) and enjoys teasing Hideki. She has a very outgoing and jumpy personality. Yumi seems to have a sad past experience with persocons and Hideki does his best to avoid the topic when around her. Yumi also seems to have a connection to the chef at Chirol... Shimizu Takako Age: 25(?) Shimizu-sensei is Hideki and Shinbo's cram school teacher, who's job is to prepare her students for the next entrance exam. She loves to tease and joke with her students (and Hideki always seems to end up her target). Despite her young age, Shimizu-sensei is married. She had a dream of becoming a grade-school teacher, but her interests conficted with her husbands. She is seperated with her husband after he fell in love with his persocon. Kokubunji Minoru Age:12 Even at his young age, there is nobody that knows more about persocons than he does. He comes from a very well-to-do family and goes to one of the top schools in Japan called Kiyozono. Minoru owns multiple persocons, which he customized himself, and seems to have a special attachment towards his persocon Yuzuki. He helps Hideki understand more about persocons and always seems to discover new facts about Chii from the internet. Sumomo Age: ??? Sumomo is a mobile persocon owned by Shinbo. Shinbo prefers Sumomo because she is easy to carry around and she is undeniably adorable. Sumomo is very hyperactive and is very helpful when it comes to information searching. Sumomo has helped both Hideki and Chii in multiple situations. Yuzuki Age: ??? Yuzuki is Minoru's most powerful and most precious persocon. Yuzuki was built by Minoru to resemble his sister who passed away. Compared to his other persocons, Yuzuki has a very advanced self-learning program (which is very close to Artificial Intelligence, but not quite) custom made by Minoru. Kojima Yoshiyuki Age: ??? He uses the codename "Dragonfly" on the internet, he is the man who kidnapped Chii in order to get into her programming to see how a "Chobit" works. Of course, Yoshiyuki's plans backfire when Chii fends him off easily. Kotoko Age: ??? Yoshiyuki's mobile persocon, she is small with bells in her hair. She is a very blunt and unemotional persocon (opposite of Sumomo), Yoshiyuki programmed her to only tell the truth, even if it means betraying him. Shinbo takes Kotoko to keep her as evidence when Yoshiyuki kidnaps Chii...Kotoko doesn't protest leaving. Yasuhino Ueda Age: 39 In the manga, Ueda was Hideki's old boss but in the anime Hideki never worked for him. Ueda owns the Chiroru pastry shop and is Chii's employer. In the past, Ueda actually married his persocon, but because of an traffic accident, it was destroyed. Ueda has feelings for his past employee, Yumi...but Yumi is hesistant to accept his feelings after hearing about his marriage. Black Chii Age: ??? Little is known about her...black Chii is obviously one of the Chobits series. Her intentions aren't clear, but she seems to be more consious about Chii than Chii seems to be. Dita Age:??? An unknown persocon who is a bodyguard (aka, virus protector) to Jima. She also seems to be one of the chobits series and Hibiya seems to have a part in her creation. Jima Age: ??? Always with Dita, he is always keeping track of Chii's movements through his glasses. Also likely to be part of the chobits series, Jima holds all information and data about Chii's past.
