Family life for poor little Hinata doesn't look very good... Because she's weak physically, spirtually, and emotionally her family ignores her and wants nothing to do with her. And being of the main branch, she's expected to be powerful but yet is beaten in a fight my her younger sister.

Her family, or rather her father, doesn't care about her achievements even though they are fantastic acheivements, especially for her! Most rookies are not entered into the chuunin exams, and to make it as far as she did is even more amazing. But acknoledgment is not to be had.

Despite all of this, Hinata seems to be quite well adjusted to the fact that the only people that treat her right are people she's known for half a year, intimately that is. They treat her as a freind, and as an ally rather than someone who can't live up to what they expect. The family i speak of is of course: Shino, Kiba and Kurenai! ^_^ Much nicer than Hinata's real family.
