Episode 2
Tennyo's First Kiss

A huge rainstorm begins and the room is silent with all eyes on Aya and Aki. Grandpa walks up to Aya and tells her that she is nothing but danger to the Mikage family and she must die. Aya blinks and starts to smile, thinking this is a huge joke. She looks around, asking her family to stop joking. She looks at Aki and tries to convince herself that his blood is fake.

Angry, grandpa yells at Aya not to touch Aki. The family leaves the room and bodyguards take Aki with them. Only Aya, her father, her grandpa, and numerous bodyguards are left in the room. One of the bodyguards present Aya's father with a gun. Grandpa orders his son to fulfill his duty as he slowly reaches for the gun.

He takes the gun and walks toward Aya. As he aims the gun at his daughter, he begins to shake and tell her, "Aya, I'm so sorry, I didn't want it to come to this. Maybe there's still hope...to save Aki's life and yours. I just want you to be a normal, free, happy girl..." Tears begin to form in his eyes. "No matter what anyone says, you'll always be my little girl!" Her father quickly turns to aim the gun at grandpa but in turn a gun held by a bodyguard is held against his own head.

Grandpa chuckles and asks his son if he realizes who he's about to shoot. Aya's father keeps the gun aimed at grandpa, slowly saying he'll kill him. Grandpa looks down and orders the bodyguard to shoot. The guard shoots Aya's father in the head and he falls over to the floor, dead.

Scared and petrified, Aya trembles as she watches the scene. One of the body guards takes the gun out of her father's hand. Grandpa mutters to his son's dead body, "Ever since you were little I could read you like a book. Anyone could tell what you were thinking."

Aya stares at her grandfather as he calls her a stupid girl. She hears her heart beating faster. All the bodyguards circle Aya, preparing to shoot. Suddenly, a burst of energy comes from Aya.

At her house, Suzumi suddenly feels something twinge inside her. She quickly calls Yuuhi and Kyuu-san informs her that Yuuhi's in the kitchen preparing dinner.

In the kitchen, Yuuhi is cooking and listening to music wearing his walkman. He looks over and sees Suzumi yelling at him but can't hear her over his headset. He takes off his headphones and hears Suzumi call him an idiot as she throws her fan at his head. Yuuhi catches the fan with his chopsticks before it fell into his stew.

Suzumi walks up to him and asks Yuuhi to pick up a girl. He asks if it's one of her students and she replies, "No...it's a feeling."

At the lab, Kagami and other scientists watch a camera scene when energy suddenly swirls around Aya and the cameras die. Kagami tells his assistant to get the car ready.

At the Aogiri household, Yuuhi's father begins to eat his dinner as a servant pours him tea. He chuckles to himself, thinking about what Suzumi's doing, heading for the Mikage household.

With Yuuhi and Suzumi in the car, Kyuu-san drives crazily in the rain. Yuuhi tells her that he didn't know she had a driver's license. Kyuu-san replies that she's been a permit driver for many years. She then admits that it's weird that the car she was driving has 2 pedals when the car she learned on had 3.

Yuuhi yells at Kyuu-san that the car was automatic. As Kyuu-san drives, the car swerves left and right, throwing Yuuhi and Suzumi around the back.

Back at the Mikage mansion, the room's completely destroyed. As the rain pours in, the guards help grandpa up. Grandpa is amazed at Aya's true powers and he didn't think that this would happen. He orders his guards to hurry and find Aya.

A flashback of the big pine tree occurs. A young Aki is at the bottom, telling Aya not to climb the tree because grandpa would get mad at her. Aya keeps climbing and says she's OK. Suddenly Aya hears her father yell and she loses her grip and falls, but her father catches her in time.

Grandpa walks up and says that Aya sure is a tomboy. Aya's dad apologizes and grandpa goes on to explain to Aya and Aki that the tree has been in the Mikage family for many generations and they should never do anything to harm it. Little Aya and Aki agree to his wishes and look up the huge tree.

As the rain keeps pouring down, Aya finds herself in the tree. She regains consiousness and looks at her hands covered in blood. A voice from below calls, "Hey you, the big cat in the tree."

Aya looks down to see her mysterious savior, staring up at her. He asks Aya why is the whole household after her. Aya begins to wonder why and remembers back when her father got killed. Tears stream down her eyes as she turns her head and notices the man was now right behind her in the tree.

Aya panics and quickly pushes him away, but in turn almost falls from the tree. The man grabs her before she falls and holds her in his arms. Aya sobs into the stranger's chest and yells out loud why did her family do such a thing. Before she finishes her sentence, the man quickly holds her head and kisses and silences her.

Below, guards run past the tree. After they're gone, the man lifts his head away from Aya and apologizes. Aya blushes and thinks back when the man saved her from the street. She stares at him and whispers, "The kind man...who saved my life..."

The man says his name isn't "kind man" but that his name is Tooya. Aya suddenly turns her head and realizes what had just happened and says out loud, "What should I do?! That was my first kiss!!!" A bullet is shot at her but misses and Aya and Tooya quickly duck and look down.

A bodyguard is below, aiming his gun at them. Suddenly, Yuuhi comes along and knocks the bodyguard out with his chopsticks. He looks up at Aya and tells her that he came to rescue her. Surprised, Aya looks down, not knowing what to do. Yuuhi yells at her to hurry up or else more men will come after her.

Tooya gives her a push off the tree towards Yuuhi's arms. Aya screams and the images flash before her eyes again and she floats into Yuuhi's arms. Shocked, Yuuhi comments on how light she is but then Aya stops floating and her weight causes Yuuhi to fall over.

Yuuhi quickly grabs Aya's arm and runs away from the scene. Aya looks back at Tooya, still in the tree. As they run through the yards, Aya tries to ask who he is. Yuuhi tells her to shut up and adds that he'll explain things later. More bodyguards chase after them as Yuuhi and Aya escape into the car. Kyuu-san quickly drives off.

In the car, the Mikages behind them, Suzumi introduces Yuuhi and herself to Aya. Leaning against the car door, wrapped in a blanket, Aya stares sadly ahead with no reply. Suzumi sympathizes with her and tells Aya not to worry because she's on her side.

Right outside the Mikage mansion, Kagami slaps one of the men for letting Aya get away. The bodyguard apologizes and they proceed into the mansion to inform the grandfather.

At Suzumi's house, Suzumi asks Kyuu-san how Aya is doing. Kyuu-san replies that she's resting now. Suzumi walks off to let Aya sleep and asks Kyuu-san to find her sewing box.

Inside her room, Aya dreams about her childhood birthday. She and Aki blow out the candles on their cake together and receive their presents. Their father looks at their mother and smiles. Along with them, their grandfather smiles happily at them both. Suddenly a gun shot interrupts the moment and Aya wakes up, terrified.

As Aya recovers from her nightmare, she begins to remember what happen with her grandpa and how the guards all shot at her. She remembers a forcefield protecting her from the bullets and then she destroyed the room with her energy to escape. Aya sobs and buries her face into the pillow.

The next morning, Aya, Yuuhi, and Suzumi are together in a room. Suzumi tells them, "A tennyo has finally been discovered. I can't let her be killed."

Shocked, Aya stares at Suzumi and says in disbelief, "I'm...a tennyo?"
